NOAHFINNCE – is back with his long awaited new single ‘Mr Overwhelm’ read our review here

With “Mr Overwhelm”, NOAHFINNCE delivers one of his most introspective and emotionally resonant releases to date. While the singer songwriter has built his reputation on infectious pop punk energy and unfiltered honesty, this latest single sees him stepping into a darker, more expansive sonic landscape without losing the identity that has made his music so compelling.

At its core, “Mr Overwhelm” is a confrontation with the crushing anxieties of modern life. The titular character represents the fear, uncertainty, and hopelessness that comes with existing in a world that often feels far removed from the promises of fairness and possibility we are taught to believe in as children. NOAHFINNCE captures the painful moment of recognising that the idealised version of the world may never have existed, while also exploring the comforting temptation of escaping into fantasy and nostalgia for a place or time that was never real.

The track’s shift away from his traditional pop punk roots allows a new side of NOAHFINNCE’s artistry to emerge. Atmospheric textures and a more brooding emotional palette create space for the song’s themes to fully land, proving his ability to evolve beyond the boundaries of a single genre.

Yet despite its fresh direction, “Mr Overwhelm” still carries the heart of a classic NOAHFINNCE anthem, raw vulnerability, sharp songwriting, and a willingness to voice the thoughts many people struggle to articulate. It’s a bold, mature evolution that embraces uncertainty while finding catharsis within it.

“Mr Overwhelm” scores a 7 out of 10
