Ninajirachi – too brings headline tour to Whelan’s Dublin

Ninajirachi is raising the flag for a new generation of Australian artists on the international stage. From festival appearances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Laneway, and Spilt Milk to sold-out headline shows on both sides of the Pacific, she has quickly become one of electronic music’s most electrifying new voices. With a sound and style “simultaneously garnering respect from the experimental underground and the mainstream”(Rolling Stone), Nina has been tapped by Nike, Sega, and even Ableton, who selected her to produce the official demo project for Ableton Live.

A longtime fan-favourite from her live set, ‘All I Am’ offered the first glimpse of her debut album, I Love My Computer. Led by the singles ‘All I Am’, ‘iPod Touch’, ‘Fuck My Computer’, ‘Infohazard’, and ‘Delete’, I Love My Computer debuted at #1 on the ARIA Dance Albums Chart. Propelled by her fast-growing online community and a series of sold-out headline shows across Australia, New Zealand, and North America, the album became a cultural moment, earning an impressive eight ARIA Award nominations and receiving widespread praise from tastemakers such as Anthony Fantano and Derick Gee, alongside outlets including Pitchfork, Billboard, Dazed, and more.

Since its release in August, I Love My Computer has emerged as a critical triumph, winning three ARIA Awards (Best Independent Release, Best Solo Artist and the Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist award), the 2025 Australian Music Prize for Album of the Year, the Music NSW Prize for Breakthrough Artist, and triple j’s Album of the Year & Video of the Year.

Beyond the growing recognition for her own releases, Nina’s evolution is best captured in the transformation of her childhood inspirations into career allies. Artists such as Charli XCX, Porter Robinson, and Cashmere Cat have gone from influences to touring partners, while Skrillex and SOPHIE have become recurring points of comparison, with Billboard declaring Ninajirachi “the female equivalent of Scary Monsters-era Skrillex.”

Raised on Australia’s Central Coast, Nina remains rooted in curiosity and experimentalism, continually spotlighting emerging artists from the furthest corners of the internet through her DJ sets, collaborations, and her annual headline event, Dark Crystal. Launched in 2022, Dark Crystal is Nina’s dream festival, brought to life. A showcase for unique and developing artists across diverse genres and niches. With the 2025 edition selling out months in advance, Dark Crystal has become a touchstone of Australia’s electronic underground community.
