Newcastle post-punk merchants Tight Collar – release angsty debut single ‘White Noise’

Fresh faced and suited for the occasion, Newcastle’s TIGHT COLLAR explode onto the North East’s music scene with blistering debut single ‘White Noise‘. Combining high energy with genre blending soundscapes, TIGHT COLLAR seek to create a chaotic atmosphere that channels the inner turmoil of an anxiety riddled mind.

Thematic and all-encompassing, ‘White Noise‘ is a defiant stance speaking on behalf of their generation observing the politically unstable world they’re inheriting. The band comment:

“This was one of the first songs we wrote together as a band, so it felt right to have it as our debut release. We wanted it to capture the raw energy that comes from the sheer anxiety of living in today’s political climate. Alex at Polestar Studios helped us pull that energy together, giving the track its raw edge and setting us up to record it live…

White Noise‘ is an honest portrayal of the inability to think rationally when overwhelmed by a swirling ocean of stress and anxiety. The live performance aims to capture the chaos within the protagonist’s mind”
