New Enemy – releasing another single “Don’t Wanna Know” from our upcoming EP, you can read our review here

New Enemy’s latest single “Don’t Wanna Know” is a raw and emotionally charged anthem that taps into the darker side of survival. Built around the idea of burying your head in the sand when life becomes overwhelming, the track carries an honesty that instantly makes it relatable. Rather than pretending to have all the answers, the song embraces avoidance as a coping mechanism, turning emotional exhaustion into something powerful and deeply human.

From the opening seconds, the band wastes no time making an impression. The intro is genuinely gripping, slowly building tension. It creates the perfect atmosphere for Ash’s vocals to arrive, and when they do, they hit with real intensity. Her voice moves effortlessly between vulnerability and aggression, with a raspy edge that gives the lyrics even more emotional weight. It never feels forced, instead, it adds authenticity to every line.

What makes “Don’t Wanna Know” stand out is how naturally it blends melody with heaviness. The track carries clear influences from both nu-metal and emo without sounding dated. There’s emotion in every section, but the band never sacrifices energy or impact in the process.

For fans of emotionally driven heavy music, New Enemy have delivered a track that feels both personal and explosive. “Don’t Wanna Know” is the kind of song that hits hardest when life feels loudest and that’s exactly why it works so well.
