Nessa Barrett / Sombr – Aftercare tour live gallery & review from 3Olympia Dublin 26.05.2025

Nessa Barrett hit Dublin on her Aftercare tour for two sold-out nights at 3Olympia and as i approached the venue its a very long time since i had seen a queue so long waiting for doors to open as her largely teenage girl fan base waited to try get to the front.

Once Doors opened and everyone filed in the screams could be heard for the slightest movement on the stage, that was until Nessa came on stage then the screams before were nothing like what went out around the venue as Nessa took center stage with her guitar to open the set of twenty two song which the fans sang back every word of every song to the point of drowning out Nessa at times and at other times Nessa pointing the mic out to the crowd for them to sing the song or parts.

Nearing the end of her set it was nice to hear her rendition of Portishead’s ‘Glory Box’ just before the room erupted as she sang ‘Aftercare’ a couple more songs and the night ended with ‘ P*RNSTAR’

Opening act on the night came from Sombr who incidentally had played his own sold-out show the night before at The Academy and it seemed the many there weren’t only there to see Nessa but also Sombr judging by the crowds reactions to every song.
