Mudrat – to play a headline show at Bello Bar, Dublin

Naarm/Melbourne’s formidable punk/hip-hop hybrid MUDRAT released his highly anticipated debut album SOCIAL COHESION in August of last year. Along with the album release, MUDRAT drops a visualiser video for the single “BREAK FREE”.

“BREAK FREE” is a genre-bending mission statement for the album. The track kicks off with thrashing riffs and thumping vocals before shifting into half-time grooves that showcase MUDRAT’s veteran MC skills. Serving as a thesis for the entire project, the song challenges listeners with a single question: are you ready to break free?

The title of the album SOCIAL COHESION is a direct response to proposed anti-protest laws in Victoria, which are being justified under the guise of protecting “social cohesion.” This record challenges that narrative, arguing that genuine unity comes not from silence or conformity, but from facing down division and fighting for collective justice.

After the successful release of this album, MUDRAT is now touring the album across Europe, and stopping off in Bello Bar on 27 May 2026 while he’s at it.
