Miller Campbell – pushes the single ‘Bad’ ahead of self titled debut album out Sept 12th

With her breakout single “Bad” racking up thousands of streams in just days and critical buzz building, Montana-born Irish-American rocker Miller Campbell is gearing up for the release of her self-titled debut album Miller Campbell on September 12 via Legere Records. The album’s release will be followed by US and European tour dates this fall, bringing her bold mix of gritty rock energy and alt-pop shimmer to stages across both continents.

Growing up in Montana, Miller often heard her mother talk about visiting Tipperary in Ireland as a teenager during a European road trip—long, vivid stories of the green countryside, bustling pubs, and the music that seemed to spill out onto the streets. Her cousin, the legendary Glen Campbell, would also share his own memories of Ireland, recalling visits with family there while touring the world. Though she’s never been herself, Miller has carried those stories like a compass, quietly promising she’d one day make the trip. With the momentum of “Bad” and her debut album, she’s now setting her sights on adding an Irish tour date next year as she builds her audience across the US and Europe.

Fresh off more than 10,000 streams in its first few days, “Bad” is fierce, unapologetic, and dripping with swagger, fusing gritty rock energy with alt-pop shimmer, showcasing Campbell’s powerhouse vocals and raw emotional intensity. SPIN Magazine hails her sound as “the no-bullshit defiance of Chrissie Hynde with the gleeful abandon of The Go-Go’s,” while Uncut and Pitchfork contributor Stephen Deusner calls the album “one of the most thrilling releases of the year.”

Miller Campbell delivers the full, razor-sharp package: coiled guitar licks, taut rhythms, skinny-tie synths, and confessional songwriting that moves from biting rockers (“3AM”) to haunting ballads (“Self Medicated,” featured in the Sony/Blumhouse thriller Afraid earlier this year). Produced in Hollywood with Matt Drenik (Battleme), the record channels everything from ’70s rock radio to new-wave grit, meant to crackle on vinyl and scream from a car stereo.

Cousins with Glen Campbell but blazing her own electrified path, Miller blends heartland grit with coastal shimmer, creating an unmistakable style that has earned her a Billboard Heatseekers Award and praise from American Songwriter. Her upcoming shows promise to bring the record’s dynamic energy to life on legendary stages across the US, Germany, and the Netherlands in autumn 2025.
