Mac DeMarco – announced for The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks Dublin

Singular Artists today proudly announces the inimitable Mac DeMarco and special guests for next year’s Wider Than Pictures concert series, taking place at The National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin on Saturday, 29th August 2026

Tickets are €60 (subject to charges), on sale this Friday, 31st October at 10am from ticketmaster.ie and singularartists.ieRegister HERE for exclusive pre-sale.

This is the first show to be announced for the exceptional Wider Than Pictures concert series, which will be entering its fifth year next summer and has seen The National Museum of Ireland’s beautiful and historical courtyard, in the centre of Dublin, play host to a diverse line-up of world class acts such as Father John Misty, Deacon Blue, First Aid Kit, Franz Ferdinand, Simply Red and more since its inception.

The announcement follows the release of DeMarco’s acclaimed 2025 album Guitar (Mac’s Record Label), written and recorded entirely by Mac at his home in Los Angeles. Hailed by Pitchfork as DeMarco’s “most direct and confident expression ever,” Guitar sees DeMarco in a reflective, stripped-back mode. This is a warm and deeply personal record that captures the songwriter’s signature mix of humour, melancholy and heart.

The album’s singles ‘Home’ and ‘Holy’ revealed a new level of intimacy and self-awareness from DeMarco. “I think Guitar is as close to a true representation of where I’m at in my life today as I can manage to put to paper,” he said. “I’m happy to share this music, and look forward to playing these songs as many places as I’m able.”

After an entirely sold-out 2025 world tour — including two nights at Dublin’s National Stadium this November — DeMarco returns to Ireland in 2026 for a special outdoor headline show as part of Singular Artists’ Wider Than Pictures series.
