On Thursday night, The Academy Greenroom played host to a packed house of young, excited fans eagerly awaiting the masked, London rapper, M Huncho. On tour after the release of his new album U2OPIA.
The energy in the room was electric from the moment he stepped on stage, and he delivered a performance full of confidence and energy.
True to form, M Huncho kept his mask on throughout the night, a statement to show his favour to privacy speaks volumes about his desire for the music to be his main focus over image.
The highlight of the night came during the final few songs, when the entire crowd came together, dancing as one, jumping around together in a mosh with the excitement of the songs and the love for the music. It was a moment that turned a great show into a memorable one.
To end off the night, M Huncho took time to meet fans, something that many artists don’t do, but the excitement was clearly seen in many fans. It was a rare gesture that made the night even more personal and meaningful.
The night was warmed up by two very talented rappers, Tyk and Trav who really brought the energy and got the crowd very hyped for the arrival of M Huncho.
