London based punk quartet BE N!CE – releases eco-conscious riot ‘GREEN BURIAL’

BE N!CE is a London-based band celebrated for their distinctive take on punk music, electrifying live shows and ethos of embracing the weird and standing up to bigotry & injustices.

Following debut EP ‘WHERE AM I?’ (released Jan 2025) which enjoyed a glowing 5* review from ThePunkSite and attention from press such as Loud Women & RTE, BE N!CE have much instore for 2026- kickstarting with riotous new single ‘GREEN BURIAL‘ available 15/04/26.

An aggressive punk song with metal and alt rock mixed in, GREEN BURIAL serves as encouragement to the rich, power hungry & greedy that it’s never too late to turn your life around and leave a positive legacy. The track was recorded by Jake Stanton at Big Fig Studios, and mastered by Tim Turan (Suzi Quatro, Killing Joke, You Me At Six, etc).

Drummer Alex McIntosh says:

“’Green Burial’ was born out of my passion for green tech and renewables, and the anger and hopelessness I’ve felt regarding the lack of progress and even regression in the case of the USA on climate related promises and investment. The concept of a green burial — where your body becomes a tree — felt like the perfect dark, absurd lens to channel that frustration through, imagining a kind of frontier justice for those who prioritise profit over the planet. Musically, we wanted something aggressive that people could mosh to, and I’m incredibly proud of how it all came together.”

The band consists of Pol Mills (lead vocals – they/them), Emily Harris (bassist – she/her), Alex McIntosh (drummer – he/him), and Brett Lee (guitarist – he/him), whose chemistry is undeniable despite their own distinctive musical and visual contributions. Each member brings their own flavour to BE N!CE, making for a rich, eclectic sound that feels as much like a rebellion as a celebration.

BE N!CE played Loud Women Festival and Attitude Festival in 2025 and has supported bands such as CHERYM, PUSSYLIQUOR, The SoapGirls, and Split Dogs. They were also picked to compete in the first No Sleep Til Hellfest in 2024 and were shortlisted for Kerrang’s 2025 The Deal.
