Line-Up Announcement for Bulmers Live at Leopardstown, Dublin

One of Ireland’s favourite summertime events, Bulmers Live at Leopardstown, is back for 2024 with five days of exhilarating horse racing followed by live entertainment from some of the biggest names in music: Spice Girl Melanie C, legendary hitmaker Bonnie Tyler, trad-house pioneers Chasing Abbey, Irish album chart topper Lyra and one of Ireland’s favourite live acts Hermitage Green will all take to the Bulmers Live at Leopardstown stage on dates throughout July and August.

From her rise to fame as one fifth of the most successful girl bands of all time – The Spice Girls – to her successful solo career, Melanie C’s impact on music and pop culture has been nothing short of incredible. With 11 UK number ones under her belt and being the only female artist to top the UK charts as a quintet, quartet, duo and solo artist in British music history, Melanie’s talent has gained the recognition and devotion of critics and fans all over the world throughout the last 25 years. Melanie Chisholm, aka Melanie C and Sporty Spice, is one of the most successful international musical artists from the 90s with more than 108 million copies sold over her 27-year successful career.

Bonnie Tyler, born Gaynor Hopkins, was brought up in Skewen, a small village near Swansea. She grew up to become one of Wales’ best-known performers, achieving chart success all over the world. She is recognised for her distinctive husky voice, and a long list of hit singles including ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’, ‘It’s a Heartache’, ‘Holding Out for a Hero’, ‘Lost in France’, ‘More Than a Lover’, ‘Bitterblue’ and ‘If I Sing You a Love Song’. In her 50-year career, Bonnie has performed for audiences in countries across the world, and she has enjoyed critical acclaim for her recent albums Rocks and Honey and Between The Earth and the Stars

Irish dance pop trio Chasing Abbey have honed their artistic talent to create a unique sound, achieved only by combining the group’s pool of talent with each member being a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer. More recently, Chasing Abbey have revisited their roots as Irish traditional music musicians and are pioneering a new genre of music – ‘Trad House’ – where they reimagine and rework centuries’ old Irish traditional songs and fuse them with their distinctive dance pop sound.

Cork-born artist Lyra released her debut album in April 2024 and it shot straight to the top of the Official Irish Album Chart. The album showcases her eclectic style that ranges from ethereal radio hit ‘Falling’ to the dancefloor beats of new single ‘Chess’, all of which elevate her powerful vocals. 

‘Lyra’ comes after a run of singles released that have earned her a loyal fan base. In addition to ‘Falling’ – which featured on Grey’s Anatomy and Love Island – the high-energy ‘Edge of Seventeen’, co-created with famed Irish producer John Gibbons, helped build a strong following for her rousing live shows. 

Her live show displays her musical artistry alongside striking fashion statements, and has gone down a storm at festivals like Wilderness, Reading and Leeds, Isle of Wight, Latitude, Lollapalooza and Electric Picnic.

Hermitage Green has been touring sold-out shows right across the globe, entertaining fans throughout the Middle East, Australia, North America, United Kingdom and Ireland. 

Selling out iconic music venues and performing for thousands of people at some of the biggest festivals, this five-piece band has had the chance to share the stage with incredible artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Paloma Faith, Bastille, Two Door Cinema Club, Tom Odell, Gavin James, Sigrid, The Riptide Movement, The Trews and others. 

Bulmers Live at Leopardstown has a reputation for bringing the best International and Irish acts to the stage. Acts that have graced the stage in previous years include The Human League, The Undertones, Wallis Bird (2023), Razorlight, Gavin James and Imelda May (2022), All Saints, Waterboys and Coolio (2019), Smokie, Happy Mondays and Paul Young (2018) Sister Sledge (2017) and The Boomtown Rats (2016).

The Leopardstown Summer Party at the Pavilion is €105 and A La Carte Dining in the 1888 Restaurant at €120 per person.

Leopardstown Racecourse is only 20 minutes from Dublin City Centre on the Luas Green line, with dedicated shuttle buses running from the Sandyford stop before and after racing. Leopardstown is located off exit 14 or exit 15 on the M50 southbound or exit 15, M50 Northbound. Ample free parking is available onsite.
