Kris Barras – releases special piano version of ‘Unspoken’

Devon-based hard rock heavyweights KRIS BARRAS BAND have shared a string of in-store appearances across the UK this August that will coincide with the release of their upcoming new album “Monsters We Made”, due 14th August via Earache Records. The events will include an unplugged acoustic session featuring Kris Barras (vocals/guitars) and Josiah Manning (guitars/piano), and a signing session (excluding Kingston date).

RIS BARRAS BAND‘s latest single ‘Unspoken‘ sets itself apart from the pack by taking a softer and more vulnerable approach in amongst the hard rock riffage elsewhere on the record. Now, they’ve shared an even more special and emotionally moving version of the track with their piano ballad twist.

On the single itself, Kris enthuses:

“This track is one of my favourites, if not the favourite, track from the new album. Both single releases so far have been pretty full-on, heavier tracks, and I don’t feel that they necessarily give the whole picture of what is to come on Monsters We Made.”

He continues:

“‘Unspoken’ brings about a bit of balance, being a bit more reserved and almost ballad-like. It’s about the battle between silence and expression. The struggle to let people know how you really feel, fighting through isolation and emotional pain while struggling to express what’s really going on inside.”

Most venues will include an album pre-order + ticket bundle for entry (with the exclusion of Kingston, which will offer a ticket-only option).
