Kingfishr – announce three huge outdoor shows for 2027

Having completed a run of rapturously received and emotionally charged stadium and arena shows across Ireland last weekend, Kingfishr now announce details of even bigger things to come in 2027. The trio will top the bill at Belfast’s Belsonic festival, before playing gargantuan outdoor headline gigs in Dublin and Limerick. The three shows will see Kingfishr play to a combined audience of 90,000+ people.

The new dates show that the continued rise of Kingfishr shows no signs of slowing down. Their smash hit single ‘Killeagh’ became a cultural phenomenon, spending 17 weeks at #1 in Ireland while their debut album ‘Halcyon’ also hit #1. Their current single, ‘The Sun Will Never Settle’, has also already spent two weeks so far at the peak of the domestic charts. That success is translating in the UK too, with a #7 chart position for ‘Halcyon’ as well as 60,000 ticket sales for their recent headline tour which included two sold-out nights at the O2 Academy Brixton.

While their streaming growth has accelerated exponentially, much of their reputation has been forged through the electrifying energy, community spirit and passion of their live shows. Hot Press’s review of their recent St. Anne’s Park show captured the atmosphere, stating: “Attendees in their thousands link arms, jive and sing along to the anthem, indifferent to the bucketing rain, which for me, eclipse any statistic in terms of a gauge in resonance.”

Frontman Eddie Keogh says, “Before we started the band, we had been to many of the venues we played last week to see our favourite artists play: Mumford & Sons, Paolo Nutini, The Killers being the ones that spring to mind. Being on those stages was nothing short of an out of body experience. The support we felt every night was some we will cherish for the rest of our lives.  We want to do it again, but bigger. So that’s what we’re doing.”
