When it comes to Irish festival favourites, few bands have the pedigree and presence of King Kong Company. Named Best Irish Act in 2018 and Best Live Act in 2016 by Pure M magazine, this Waterford-born collective has made a habit of turning festival fields into full-blown parties. From tearing up the Electric Picnic main stage on a Friday night in 2023 to headlining the main stage at All Together Now in 2024, King Kong Company brings an energy that you simply can’t ignore. In fact, their 2019 Electric Picnic set was so memorable that The Irish Times ranked it among the top 10 moments in the festival’s history, a fitting accolade for a band that has played Electric Picnic almost every year since 2014. King Kong Company have now announced a headline Academy, Dublin show for Friday, 28th November 2025.
