Joshua Bassett / Thomas Day – The Golden Years Tour live at 3Olympia Dublin 13.01.2025

Joshua Bassett made an unforgettable debut on his first European stop of The Golden Years Tour with a dazzling performance in Dublin on Monday night.

Bassett exploded onto stage to the title track of his new and very first album – The Golden Years. From the floor to the upper circle, the theatre was bouncing. It was obvious from the offset that we were in for an extraordinary show.

Bassett held an undeniable connection with his fans throughout the set and at several points even made his own way through the crowd. During Circles, a fan was invited to share the stage who taught us an original dance to the new hit. ‘Lie Lie Lie’ unsurprisingly went down well as a singalong and the ballads had tears flowing in every corner of the room.

Between songs, Bassett shared several stories of personal hardship and the lessons he’s learned along the way. His performance told a story of finding hope and practicing optimism in the face of life’s challenges – a message that would no doubt resonate. For those lucky enough to be there, it was a night to remember. For those who missed it… let’s just say that Dublin will be eagerly awaiting his return.
