Joey Valence & Brae – Hyperyouth Worl Tour live gallery and review from 3Olmypia Dublin 07.05.2026

American hip-hop duo Joey Valence & Brae brought their Hyperyouth world tour to the iconic 3Olympia Theatre, delivering a riotous nineteen song set that left the Dublin crowd drenched in sweat and adrenaline.

Opening with the explosive title track “Hyperyouth”, the pair wasted no time in turning the packed venue into a bouncing sea of bodies. From the first bass hit, Joey Valence & Brae fed off the crowd’s energy, storming across the stage with relentless intensity and barely allowing a moment to breathe between tracks. Their chemistry was impossible to ignore; every verse, shout, and beat switch landed with razor-sharp precision, while the audience screamed back lyrics loud enough to rival the speakers.

What makes Joey Valence & Brae so compelling live is their ability to fuse old school Beastie Boys style chaos with modern internet age production. Songs thundered through the Olympia with distorted basslines, frenetic drum breaks, and tongue-in-cheek humour, but beneath the mayhem sat a surprisingly tight performance. Even during the most chaotic moments, the duo never lost control of the room.

The staging itself was minimal apart from a large blow up replica of the boys logo which hide the DJ decks, allowing the music and atmosphere to do the heavy lifting. Strobe lighting flashed in sync from the back of the stage with pounding beats as did red/magenta lighting for most the night, added with smoke and no front lighting ended up obscuring the boys a lot of the time, yet there was a sense of camaraderie throughout the crowd. Dublin audiences are known for their passion, and on Thursday night they gave the duo everything.

By the time the final track closed the set, the Olympia was exhausted but euphoric. Joey Valence & Brae are rapidly becoming one of the most exciting live acts in contemporary hip-hop.
