James Arthur – reveils new single ”Celebrate” from highly anticipated album ”Pisces”

Following the emotional depth of his November 2024 release “ADHD,” James Arthur continues to push musical boundaries with his latest single, “Celebrate.” Out today, “Celebrate” marks the second single from his forthcoming album PISCES (out March 21, 2025). The track offers an intimate, heart-rending exploration of James’ journey from his difficult upbringing to a place of self-realization and growth. Listen HERE.

“Celebrate” is a soaring anthem that deftly balances reflections on the past with aspirations for the future. With its deeply emotional lyrics, James confronts his struggles head-on, singing, “I’ve come a long way from nowhere. I’ve given up on friends of mine, ‘Cause when I needed friends, they weren’t there. A phone call could’ve saved my life… I don’t wanna hate myself no more.” The track is punctuated by electrifying flashes of guitar that echo like distant lightning, underscoring the vulnerability of the song. In moments of introspection, James plaintively asks, “Can anybody hear me? Can anybody help?”

“There’s been many times over the course of my life where I’ve lost the ability to live in the moment or I’ve been in a room full of people yet somehow I still felt alone. We’re always striving for more and we forget to exercise gratitude for the things that we do have or have achieved and therefore we fail to enjoy those special moments. People often tell me I should celebrate more but the truth is I’m not very good at it so I wrote this song about that very thing. I hope it makes you feel something”, says James about ‘Celebrate’.

After the tremendous success of his chart-topping album Bitter Sweet Love, James Arthur is ready to take his fans on an even more personal journey with PISCES, his sixth studio album. Known for his powerful, raspy vocals and emotionally charged ballads, James pushes the boundaries of his artistry on this upcoming release, blending ethereal, atmospheric production with his signature raw emotion.

On PISCES, James explores themes of vulnerability, mental health, and self-acceptance, continuing his exploration of these personal issues but with a fresh, more experimental sound. The album offers a stark contrast to his previous work, embracing a dreamier, more subdued style that complements his storytelling. The album’s title, PISCES, reflects James’ astrological identity. As a Pisces, he has always connected with the duality of his sign — sensitive, introspective, and a natural dreamer.
