Renowned solo-artist Jack Lukeman brings his extraordinary voice, theatrical flair, and charismatic stage presence to Cork Opera House on Friday, April 24th 2026.
Decades of performing in Cork have cemented Lukeman as a beloved figure of the city’s music scene. From his New Year extravaganzas to intimate county-wide gigs, and now as music patron of Blackrock Castle Observatory (BCO), his connection to Cork’s music community continues to grow stronger with every performance.
Bringing audiences on a journey through his celebrated career, performing fan favourites from Wax, Metropolis Blue, The Story So Far, and his most recent studio albums, Magic Days and Echo On, audiences can expect an immersive evening of song and storytelling – a signature blend of passion, humour, and drama that reaffirms Lukeman as one of Ireland’s most compelling live performers.
The show will feature selected repertoire from Lukeman’s acclaimed project Chez Jack L: Love, Sex, Death + More, a transformative element of the performance that sees him turn songs by Jacques Brel, Leonard Cohen, and Kurt Weill into something deeply his own, demonstrating his singular ability to reinterpret, revive, and redefine music at a pace few artists in Ireland have matched.
A multi-platinum artist from Athy, Co. Kildare, Lukeman has toured extensively, sharing stages with artists such as Sting, Jools Holland, and Trevor Horn. His live shows continue to earn acclaim for their mix of powerful vocals, emotional storytelling, and theatrical invention – a rare and captivating experience for audiences everywhere.
An evening of music and storytelling where timeless songs meet Jack’s signature innovation, this show has been carefully crafted to connect Cork music lovers across generations, from longtime fans to first-time listeners.
