Iz Divine – releases empowering anthem single ‘Who Do You Think You Are’

Montana-born alt-R&B, pop and soul singer/songwriter Iz Divine has released her brand new single ‘Who Do You Think You Are’, an empowering anthem full of sass and commanding energy.

Built on classic big-band-inspired live instrumentation with modern pop hooks and soul swagger, ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ plays like a cross between Amy Winehouse, Christina Aguilera and RAYE to deliver a determined larger-than-life song that celebrates the most fearless version of Iz Divine.

‘Who Do You Think You Are’ embodies the energy of being unbothered, undeniable, untouchable, and unshakeable: a declaration of self-possession for women who get things done, don’t ask for permission, and refuse to shrink.

The song is about being a trailblazer and captures the reality of climbing as a woman, learning the game of life and how to play it, and confronting the obstacles that stand in the way. Rather than challenges breaking her, the resistance becomes confirmation of her strength.

Regarding the single Iz Divine says, “This song is about the moment I decided I was going to get the life I dream of and deserve, and that no one was going to stop me. She’s my alter ego, my armour, my declaration. I made her for myself, and I’m giving her to every woman in the world who is ready to make that same decision.

There’s a version of me that doesn’t flinch, doesn’t shrink, and doesn’t need validation to move. This song is her. This song is about the woman I became when I stopped apologising for taking up space. She’s fearless, she’s unbothered, and she’s been waiting a long time to introduce herself.”

‘Who Do You Think You Are’ marks the first new music from Iz Divine in 2026. It follows a series of successful singles including ‘Get Yours’, ‘Condolences’, ‘The Man’ and ‘Thinking About You’, which have seen Iz Divine achieve over 1.2 million streams while also receiving widespread airplay across America, with over 360,000 national retail and venue plays across the country since last year alone.

Born and raised in Montana with Welsh-Irish-Sicilian-German roots, identity and belonging run through everything she makes. Displaying the warmth, the grit and cinematic sweep of a life lived with full feeling. Her music is about ownership, of your story, your power, the life you were always meant to claim. In a world that pushes women into the distance, Iz Divine becomes the centre of her own universe, and invites every listener into it. Her sound is lush and fearless, with an uncompromising vision. It’s about feeling seen, awakened and, for the first time in a long time, exactly like yourself.
