Irish composer and songwriter Lōwli returns with the release of her stunning new single ‘Woven’, out now via Veta Records. Bright and intricate piano melodies create a captivating solo-piano offering.
‘Woven’ acts as a sort of turning point within the record; it’s brighter in comparison to the previous tracks, and this represents a change of direction. For me, this piece depicts that feeling we experience when the seasons change into Spring and then Summer, representing those moments in our lives when things start to change for the better and feel more optimistic. With this track, I also wanted to showcase the natural character of the acoustic piano. To achieve this, we used felt on the piano strings, as well as embracing the many mechanical sounds from the instrument which have now become an important part of the piece.
