Innovative grime/metal rising star, Native James releases his brand new single, Field via Saviour Music. A commanding riff is present throughout the track, which culminates in a powerful rallying cry chorus. Native performed Field at his debut live show last Summer at Reading Festival, which went down a storm in front of a raucous crowd.
Native (real name Aaron James) has explained, “Field is about some of the trials and tribulations of playing the game… you either get stuck or get fucked. That’s the way I feel.”
The release of Field arrives alongside the news of Native James‘s debut EP release. Rebirth will be out on 6th September, and can be pre-saved here.
Also today, Native has announced his long-awaited debut headline show! This will take place at London’s 93 Feet East on 23rd October, and tickets are on sale now here. He will be joined by FMA, 12 Gage, Notrixx and Dreadnought as support.
Field follows the release of Native’s recent single, Power, which was featured in a Co Op advert and also received its first radio spin on Alyx Holcombe’s BBC Introducing Rock show. The track arrived alongside the music video, which sees the Ipswich-based artist perform in a bedroom alongside his band, before they are hit with the elements.
