Iggy Pop – releases single and video for ‘Modern Day Ripoff’ from “Live at Montreux Jazz Festival”

Iggy Pop “Live at Montreux Jazz Festival 2023” is an essential Iggy Pop live album, celebrating a career, a catalog and a performer that only gather more raw power throughout the years.

On July 6th, 2023 Iggy Pop returned to the Montreux Jazz Festival backed by a seven-piece band and thrilled a capacity Stravinski Auditorium crowd with a career-spanning set including tracks from his time with The Stooges, his The Idiot and Lust for Life albums, New Values leading up to his recent release Every Loser (where “Modern Day Ripoff” appears in its original studio version).

It marked Iggy’s third appearance at the festival and his monumental performance was recorded and filmed by the Montreux Jazz Festival team. The concert will be available as a Blu-ray+CD Digipak, 2 LP Gatefold, and digital download on January24th, 2025 worldwide via earMUSIC.
