Canberra, Australia- HANDS LIKE HOUSES are reborn. With a new era well underway, they recently announced their incredible new album “A T M O S P H E R I C S” will be released on 14th February 2025 via Civilians pre-order here. Today, they release “Chemicals”, the final part of the MESO EP phase of the record.
“Chemicals is about the uncontrollable emotions that come from an imbalance within yourself. For many years I lived inside my head without seeking help or diagnosis and accept that the way I’m feeling is the way it is. It could be chemical, sometimes it’s spiritual but ultimately it’s difficult to be a human in the world today. We isolate ourselves and accept our pain without looking for another perspective.” says Josh Raven
The album is a 16 track double album, made of four Volumes; Tropo(sphere), Strato(sphere), Meso(sphere)and Thermo(sphere). Each volume allowed the band to build and shape themselves into a new version, led by the charismatic frontman Josh Raven.
“The idea for Atmospherics came during one of the low parts of our career” say Joel Tyrrell. “Everything we knew had been swept away, and we really didn’t know if we would continue on as a band so we had to dig deep together and talk about what we wanted. Some of our happiest moments have been with the band so we wanted to re-shape our future”
