Utopia, Gwenno’s fourth solo record, marks a new chapter in her career. This latest release sees her writing predominantly in English for the first time, exploring themes of identity, independence, and self-discovery. The album captures a pivotal period in her life, the years between youth and adulthood blending electronic textures with piano-led songwriting. A different offering from Gwenno‘s previous albums.
A former member of indie pop group The Pipettes, Gwenno has established herself as one of the UK’s most distinctive voices, earning the Welsh Music Prize and a Mercury Prize nomination for her previous releases.
Her live show brings Utopia to life with a dynamic set spanning intimate moments and expansive, dance-driven tracks.
