Grave Lines – release ‘Corpus Colosseum’ to coincide with December live dates

Grave Lines, London’s purveyors of ‘heavy gloom’ continue to work on their next album, the follow up to 2022’s ‘Communion’. The band however are set to re-emerge later this month for a run of live shows with Morag Tong. To coincide with these dates Grave Lines have also shared the previously unreleased track ‘Corpus Colosseum’. Vocalist Jake Harding comments,

“As we focus inward and swarm into a new phase of Grave Lines we’ve decided to take the opportunity to shine a light on something from the vault. This track was originally commissioned a few years back for a project that never came to fruition and was subsequently shelved while we worked on finishing our third album.

Written in between ‘Fed Into The Nihilist Engine’ and ‘Communion’, Corpus Colosseum encapsulates opposing thoughts that twist in conflict within us, and so too was it created in the limbo between two distinct stages of our existence.

While we gestate and develop new material it seemed a fitting time to let this track see the light of day. It is now available on our bandcamp and all other digital platforms.”

Live dates:

Thurs 12th Dec – The Black heart, Camden, London w/ Morag Tong & Old Blood

Fri 13th Dec – Moor Beer, Bristol w/ Morag Tong

Sat 14th Dec – Daltons, Brighton w/ Morag Tong, Old Blood & Outback
