Grape – members of alt-J / Gang of Youths and Tellison, have released an original Christmas song ‘It’s All Right (It’s Christmas)’

GRAPE have released an original Christmas song, It’s All Right (It’s Christmas), via Bandcamp in aid of
the homeless charity St Mungo’s. The song tells the story of a character, Luis, whose relationship breaks
down at Christmas but is offered shelter by an old friend.


Gus Unger-Hamilton – also a member of alt-J and a St Mungo’s ambassador – said: “I am extremely
proud to be an ambassador for St Mungo’s and, as Londoners, we in GRAPE all feel an acute desire to help
people sleeping rough as much as we can. With this song’s lyrical themes of a difficult life in the process of
being rebuilt at Christmas, it felt like a no-brainer to release this song in support of the charity.”

The song is priced at £1.50 with the option to pay more. The band is also cutting one copy of the song
onto a signed 7” vinyl via East London label State 51, on sale for £250 via Bandcamp. The vinyl will
feature an exclusive B-side not available anywhere else. 100% of sales proceeds will go to St Mungo’s.

GRAPE have released two previous singles through State 51, No Change and Fool, the latter being a
double A-side vinyl release which quickly sold out. With many other musical projects to their individual
names (alt-J, Gang of Youths and Tellison among others) they will continue releasing music in 2026 with
upcoming single Starting Gun.

GRAPE are Henry Danowski, Max Dunn, Nat Jenkins and Gus Unger-Hamilton. It’s All Right (It’s
Christmas) was written and produced by GRAPE; mixed by Bob Matthews and Henry Danowski; with
lyrics by Gus Unger-Hamilton and Nat Jenkins.
