Old Crows Promotions is incredibly excited to announce GazeFest 5! From a small idea born at a kitchen table on a rainy Monday morning, we have made it to our fifth year! Over the last five years Old Crows Promotions have brought you some of the best in shoegaze and dream pop bands from all over Ireland, UK and Europe! As a completely independently ran festival turning 5 is a big deal, so I’ve decided to pull out all the stops! This year GazeFest goes on tour, three dates across Ireland included Galway, Dublin and Belfast! As if that wasn’t enough all three dates will be headlined by Belgian shoegaze behemoths, Slow Crush! Their third and highly acclaimed album ‘Thirst’ was released in August 2025, which saw the band tour extensively, including two Old Crows shows in Belfast and Dublin for their first ever Irish headline slots. They will be joined on all three dates by rising Belfast shoegazers, Silk. who’s album ‘Auralux’ was released in May this year and found acclaimed amongst fans and critics alike. Full line ups for each city will be announced soon!
The festival will take place across three dates:
August 26th Galway, Roisin Dubh
August 27th Dublin, Grand Social
August 28th Belfast, Oh Yeah Centre (14+)
The Belfast date is always a 14+ show, providing an opportunity for young people to be a part of and experience some of the most exciting talent Ireland, UK and EU has to offer!
The festival takes its tag line from a Melody Maker coined phrase ‘The Scene That Celebrates Itself’, which referred to how shoegaze bands in early 90’s London avoided traditional rivalries but instead were often seen at each other’s gigs, sometimes playing in each other’s bands, and drinking together. This is at the heart of what GazeFest is about, bringing together like minded individuals, both bands and crowd, to celebrate some of the most exciting talent across the island, UK and Europe.
Tickets for GazeFest 5 are available now! And following previous years sell out we advise grabbing them now!
