There are very few things in life that are promised, but Gavin James absolutely smashing a live performance is one of them.
Wednesday night, July 3rd, the Dubliner did just that, on the grounds of Trinity College for the sixth night of the Summer Series gigs.
Kicking things off at 8:45, the star, who had just come from a live performance for the president in Áras an Uachtaráin, claimed he would be “making this Wednesday night feel like a Saturday night”.
And, that he did.
From fire, to songs in the crowd, to newly released songs, to songs from throughout his almost decade-long-career, this gig had it all.
Gavin James is an artist for fans of live music. Yes, it’s all well and good turning on the radio and hearing one of his many bangers, but there’s something about a live performance, particularly from him, that can’t be replicated digitally – definitely one to keep an eye out for if he’s in your city.
