Roll Up for the Magic: Folly Festival 2025 Unveils Star-Studded Lineup Under the Shadow of Cullohill Castle

The Folly Festival is back, and the 2025 edition promises to be the most enchanting yet. Set against the backdrop of the iconic Cullohill Castle, this year’s lineup brings together top-tier musical acts, family-friendly fun, and a splash of circus magic to create a truly unforgettable weekend.

Kicking off on Friday, July 4th, the Main Stage will be lit up by none other than The Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow. Known for their creative performances and theatrical flair, Jerry and co. are set to transform Cullohill into a full-blown carnival of sound. Also taking the stage that night are country-pop sensation Lisa McHugh, rising star Clodagh Lawlor, and folk favorite Cliona McDonald.

Saturday, July 5th, brings a mix of peformances with headliners Chasing Abbey, trad-fusion group Ruaile Buaile, singer-songwriter Barry Deegan, and emerging talent Aislinn Townsend. Local legends Cullohill Comhaltas will also bring a taste of traditional Irish music to the mix.

The festival isn’t just for music fans, Saturday daytime events are completely free and open to all. From midday, attendees can enjoy a jam-packed schedule featuring live music, a Dog Show, Nancy’s Yard Kid’s Fun Day, food and craft stalls, art installations, and more.

Weekend tickets are now on sale for just €60 and can be purchased at Bergin’s Shop & Dalton’s in Cullohill or online at http://www.thefolly.ie In a family-friendly move, the festival is offering a bonus deal, up to two under-14s can attend for free with any adult ticket holder.

Let the countdown begin. Cullohill is calling, and the Folly Festival 2025 is shaping up to be an unmissable summer highlight.
