Irish multi award nominee Fionn Regan took to the stage in the Spirit Store on Sunday Feb 16th as part of his current ‘O Avalance’ tour.
Support on the night was from the excellent Lemoncello.
Regan walked onto the stage in front of a packed venue and immediately commanded the room. The ‘you could hear a pin drop’ silence was suddenly filled with his acoustic guitar and harmonica and despite him being alone on the stage, from the start of the gig until the end he was able to fill the room and keep everyone’s attention throughout.
His blend of folk/rock and his distinctive voice mixed with his meaningful lyrics is definitely worth going to see live, and you will see why he has earned the title of ‘his generations answer to Bob Dylan’.
He is currently touring Ireland until the 22nd, when he will then travel to the UK and then around Europe, so if he is playing anywhere near you before he leaves, I’d highly recommend grabbing a ticket and a good seat at the gig and letting him take you on a musical journey for an hour or two, you won’t regret it.
