Felix Green has released his powerful new single Forgot To Love You, a deeply personal tale of loss and regret. His debut EP is due out in September when he will also be heading out on his first ever headline tour throughout the UK.
Felix says of the song: “I wrote this quite early on in my writing career over Zoom because, at the time, my producer was living in France. It came from the experience of losing someone close to me and I wanted to highlight the feeling you get when you wish you’d said a lot more and end up feeling regret, even though you enjoyed the time you had together.”
Forgot To Love You follows on from his previous track Rolling Of The Dice which was aired on more than 50 key UK regional radio stations and achieved considerable support from sports syncs, including plays on Match of the Day and an Artist of the Week spot on Talk Sports. Felix was also recently featured as Artist of the Week on BBC Introducing Hampshire, Dorset and Isle Of Wight.
Born to British and Swedish parents, Felix Green is a songwriter whose gritty, soulful voice and deeply introspective lyrics connect on a raw and emotional level. His naturally raspy vocals bring an authentic depth to his storytelling, exploring the beauty and fracture of human relationships. Having released his debut single late last year, he is now poised to make his impact with a sound that blends classic soul influences with contemporary artists of the likes of Hozier, Sam Fender and Chris Stapleton.
