Created from the ashes of a collection of other brilliant UK bands, one of the most exciting heavy voices in the UK rock scene right now is Brighton/Bristol based band Every Hell. The band announce their utterly spellbinding new EP ‘The People’s Republic Of Hell’, which is set for release on Friday the 26th June.
Ahead of that, tthey have released a brand new single ‘Bane Of The Bear’, a vibrant, heavy, galloping force of nature of a song. Lyrically, it is a full on and weighty track looking in to the soul of man itself. As vocalist Will Gardner explains, “The song is about the depths of human depravity, I was particularly disturbed and moved by the heroism of Gisèle Pelicot. Her story just really shocked me and made me want to write about her courage to bring her evil husband and the men of the village to justice.”
Will explains a bit more on the musicality side of things – “Bane of the Bear is one of the first songs we wrote where I feel Toby’s (Stewart, guitarist) writing really came to bear fruit. We were at our friends rehearsal studio in Worthing and Toby came in really excited with the main guitar line for the song. We all LOVED it, and basically the whole song came together in about an hour. It really felt like the next evolution of the band, moving into a dark, more technical, post hardcore kind of mood that we had all been really craving to get our teeth into. I think this song is one of the standouts on the EP and really makes a statement of intent for the upcoming full release and beyond into 2027!”
Live wise, the band will follow up recent dates with Haggard Cat and Alpha Male Tea Party with an EP launch show on June 25th at Signature Brewery in London.
