Dublin alt-rock 5-piece Bloom emerge with debut single ‘Sailor Man‘ coupled with b-side ‘Amber Eyes‘ on Fri 27th Feb.
“Sailor Man” is a spirited Irish rock-and-roll track that blends driving guitars, steady rhythm, and a storytelling edge. The song carries a bold, energetic groove that feels both nostalgic and fresh, pulling from classic rock influences while adding a modern Irish twist. With its anthemic hooks and lively pace, “Sailor Man” paints the picture of a wandering character full of charm, grit, and adventure. It’s the kind of track that feels equally at home in a packed pub, a road-trip playlist, or a late-night session with friends — full of heart, momentum, and unmistakable Irish attitude.
“Amber Eyes” is a nostalgic, sun-soaked track about young love, sudden goodbyes, and the memories that never quite fade. With vivid lyrics and a warm, reflective vibe, it captures the feeling of holding onto someone who still lives in your mind long after they’re gone.
BLØØM are a 5 piece band from North Dublin that play alternative rock and roll with traditional Irish influences. The band consists of Sean Walsh on Guitar and Lead Vocals, Oscar Geraghty on Drums, Archie Kenyon on Lead Guitar, Ryan Hays on Bass, and Pixie on backing vocals.
