The band will take to the stage on February 11th and 12th, 2025 at Belfast’s Ulster Hall and Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre respectively, as The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s exclusive support act for both dates.
A significant achievement for a band without a label backing, the announcement comes in validation of Sun Mahshene’s continued success, and their industry growth from inception to date. Fans can expect an electrifying, perfectly paired performance in support of the headline act.
Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Sun Mahshene emerged in 2018, breathing new life into the indie and shoegaze scenes.
Featuring a unique Irish / Polish line-up, the band is eclectic and diverse, crafting a sound that is a bold mix of alternative rock, ambient electronica, and shoegaze, with a decidedly anthemic tone – dubbing this colourful hybrid ‘Post-Shoegaze’ for the masses.
“The Brian Jonestown Massacre have been a huge influence for us. To finally get to play a show with them is a dream come true”
– Nathan Henderson, lead vocalist.

“We’re so excited to play these shows, we can’t wait. For an independent band like us, to be asked personally by the band to support them is really cool! We’re gonna bring it”
– Rob Crosbie, guitarist.
