Dermot Kennedy, Sorcha Richardson & The Scratch – join Other Voices Dingle 2025 – plus first IMRO Other Room names revealed

The excitement is building for Other Voices Dingle 2025 (November 28–30), as the next wave of artists is revealed for the iconic St James’ Church stage and the IMRO Other Room. Following the first announcement of Amble, Dry Cleaning, Florence Road, and Dove Ellis, audiences can now expect Dermot Kennedy, Sorcha Richardson, and The Scratch, alongside the first confirmed IMRO Other Room acts MOIO and DUG – the start of an intimate showcase of Ireland’s finest emerging, homegrown talent.

DERMOT KENNEDY continues to dominate international stages with his powerhouse vocals and evocative songwriting. 2025 has seen Kennedy’s arena shows sell out in record time, while millions of streams and a devoted global fanbase cement him as one of Ireland’s biggest contemporary artists. His song Melodies just landed on the soundtrack for the brand new Netflix series Nobody Wants This. His St James’ Church set promises an intimate, emotionally charged performance that contrasts beautifully with his stadium performances. Better Days

SORCHA RICHARDSON has established herself as one of Ireland’s most magnetic singer-songwriters. Sharp, witty, and emotionally precise, Richardson captivates every audience with songs that are both vulnerable and fiercely confident. Her live sets linger long after the final note, leaving an unforgettable impression. Don’t Talk About It

THE SCRATCH are a band that sound like no one else you’ve ever heard before. With their raucous energy and loud guitar riffs, Ireland’s explosive four-piece with Conor Dockery, Cathal McKenna, Daniel Lang, and Gary Regan, turn music on its head, cleverly combining folk and metal music, to create something that is distinctive and original.

MOIO chases emotion in every lyric, melody, and beat. The Nigerian-Irish singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist grew up in Dublin singing in church and teaching himself guitar and bass. After uploading beats to Soundcloud, he quickly gained global attention, generating tens of millions of streams. His 2025 Earth Day EP captures his signature blend of R&B, indie, alternative, and soul. Play Hard!

DUG consists of Californian Jonny Pickett and Irish folk artist Lorkin O’Reilly (26M+ Spotify streams). Their modern take on folk draws on American and Irish traditions, while blending humour, warmth, and lyric-driven storytelling. Singles like The Big Sundown and Jubilee (shortlisted for two Grammy nominations) “Livelong Day” and most recent title-track “Have At It!”, highlight their distinctive style, mixing playful energy with reflective depth.

Performances from both St James’ Church and the IMRO Other Room will be captured as part of the 24th series of Other Voices, set to broadcast on television in early 2026. Across the weekend, all these intimate sets from The Church of St James’ will be streamed live to the world via Other Voices YouTube for a limited time, with a small number of golden ticket competitions giving lucky fans the chance to attend in person.

With more Church and IMRO Other Room artists to be announced, full details on all Other Voices happenings including; Ireland’s Edge, Banter, Cogar, the Jameson Music Trail and more to be revealed soon!

Other Voices 2025 is made possible with the support of Reed, Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, RTÉ, Walls Construction, Kerry County Council & IMRO.

TICKETS TO ST. JAMES’ CHURCH

Tickets for the intimate TV recordings at St. James’ Church are available by competition only via Other Voices and partners’ social media and digital channels. As always, performances from St. James’ will be streamed live into venues around Dingle and on the Other Voices YouTube.
