Deaf Havana – have announced a headline show at The Academy, Dublin

Deaf Havana have just announced a headline show at The Academy, Dublin on Wednesday, 21st October 2026, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of‘Fools and Worthless Liars,’ the album that would completely change the trajectory of their career and go on to become one of the defining British alternative records of its generation.

‘Fools and Worthless Liars’ arrived at a pivotal moment for UK rock music. Honest, emotional and packed with huge crossover choruses, the album connected far beyond the underground scene and quickly established itself as a landmark release for a generation of fans growing up alongside it. The record would eventually achieve Silver certification in the UK and remains widely regarded as one of the most important British alternative albums of the 2010s.

For Deaf Havana, it was the album that took them from playing sweaty dive bars and grassroots venues to selling out major rooms, soundtracking festivals and becoming a staple on BBC Radio 1. Songs from the record helped push the band into the national spotlight and laid the foundations for the remarkable career that followed.

Now, 15 years later, the band are returning to celebrate the album that started it all with a very special anniversary tour. Performing ‘Fools and Worthless Liars’ in full alongside a collection of fan favourites and career-spanning highlights, the shows promise to be both a celebration of the album’s legacy and a reminder of just how deeply these songs still resonate today.

“We are incredibly excited to announce that we are taking a trip down memory lane right back to the album that really kicked everything off for us to invite you to our celebration of 15 years of ‘Fools and Worthless Liars’! Pretty much everything we have been able to do as a band has come from this record and we are eternally grateful for it. Yeah sure, we are all getting older, but it’s beautiful and humbling to think about how far this record has come and how much it has meant to so many of you lovely people and we can’t bloody wait to bring these songs back to life for you all! We’re going to be playing the FAWL in full, along with a healthy selection of bangers on the side and it’s going to be a hell of a good time!”
