CSB – all set to release the track ‘Darkness’ featuring Caliber Bullet, a track touching on mental health. Take a read of our review here

CSB’s upcoming single Darkness, featuring Caliber Bullet, is a raw and emotionally charged exploration of mental health. Set for release on January 31st, the track blends elements of alternative, pop-punk, and rap. Built around a sample of Linkin Park’s One More Light, the song channels its inspiration while carving out its own identity.

The lyrics capture a struggle with inner demons, painting a vivid picture of pain and the effort to stay grounded. Lines like “it darkens your brain, your heart’s full of pain” reflect the constant battle many face in silence. The repetition in the chorus amplifies the overwhelming and cyclical nature of such thoughts, giving the track an almost hypnotic pull.

Musically, Darkness is a striking fusion of genres. The atmospheric guitar sample from One More Light lays the foundation, while CSB’s tone and influences bring depth. The nods to Linkin Park feel genuine, and CSB’s own flair for experimenting with sounds ensures the track remains fresh and engaging.

Beyond the music, the release of Darkness has a deeper purpose. CSB’s commitment on his social media channels to raising funds for the Men’s Mental Health Foundation highlights his dedication to addressing the struggles his lyrics speak about. This added layer of meaning gives the song a sense of importance that extends beyond its sound.

CSB’s growing catalogue showcases his versatility, and Darkness continues that trend. Whether you’re drawn in by its lyrical honesty, or its collaborative energy, the track has plenty to offer. Theres plenty more in the chamber from this artist and I’m excited to listen to his new music down the line. His want to create and transcend genres reminds my of the early days of the Eden project and listening to some of his work I can see some similarities.

Other Recommendations: If you like the sound of Darkness, check out CSB’s other tracks like Obsession and Almost Over. Both are strong examples of his ability to explore different sounds while maintaining his unique identity as an artist.

Final Thoughts: Darkness is a powerful release that tackles heavy topics with sincerity and creativity. It’s a must-listen for anyone who appreciates music that speaks to the human experience while pushing the boundaries of genre. CSB is an artist worth keeping an eye on as he continues to grow and innovate.
