So its that time of year when I head to my all time favourite outdoor venue in Ireland ( look at the cover photo to see just why! and of-course all other lol) Trinity College and Iveagh Gardens come in at joint second.
The summer series of shows at Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre have started with a bang and a 650 strong audience in attendance.
Said audience turned out to see the Irish pop group from Tullamore, that being Chasing Abbey, it was 2019 when the guys last played the amphitheatre so it was good to see them back in this fantastic picturesque venue and the place was jumping last night just as it was then.
Opening the night was Dubliner, Saibh Skelly who just back in June released the upbeat summer tune ”The Mirrors Favourite” which we featured news of on here https://mcgigmusic.com/saibh-skelly-releases-upbeat-summer-bop-the-mirrors-favourite-this-coming-friday-via-rubyworks-records/
Saibh bravely took the stage alone to warm up the filling up amphitheatre nicely before the guys took to the stage.
