Following the release of Arctic Moon, their first full-length studio album in more than twenty years, Manchester post-punk icons Chameleons have announced a headline show at The Academy, Dublin on Monday 16th February 2026.
Formed in Manchester, UK in 1981, Chameleons became one of the most emotionally powerful and musically distinctive bands of the post-punk era. Their atmospheric guitar sound, intense live shows, and poetically charged, introspective lyrics built a legacy that influenced artists from The Smashing Pumpkins and Interpol to Oasis.
Following landmark albums like Script of the Bridge and Strange Times, founding members Vox (Mark Burgess) and Reg Smithies returned in 2021 with a new lineup – Stephen Rice, Danny Ashberry, and Todd Demma – and a renewed focus.
Since 2021, the band have toured extensively on both sides of the Atlantic – as well as in the Middle East and Southeast Asia – playing major festivals and selling out headline shows across the UK, Europe and North America.
