London, UK – London based punks Burnt Tapes have announced their sophomore album ‘New Lungs’ out August 8th on Wiretap Records / Lockjaw Records and Nasty Cut Records.
“MOTHERSGUILT” paints a vivid picture of internal struggle, pressure, and disillusionment— dealing with themes of mental exhaustion, self-doubt, the weight of society’s expectations & the failure to meet those expectations.
“It’s been a long time since our first record, we’ve had a pandemic in between, and that kinda does things to a person. We wanted to push harder on all the good things about Never Better, but also bring some thing new to the table, and we’re excited to share this first single with everyone,” says Phil G. of Burnt Tapes.
