Breed 77 – Unveil New Inspirational Single ‘Don’t Give Me Up’

Their new album VII is just two weeks away, but before Breed 77 drop their first new album in thirteen years, the flamenco metallers have got one more single for you and it is something very special! Don’t Give Me Up is an inspiring single with a very key message, that it is ok to be different!

Musically, Don’t Give Me Up kicks off with the signature nylon strings and lifts to a soaring, anthemic chorus, heartfelt vocals and that unmistakable dual guitar assault. It is Breed 77 firing on all cylinders and taking no prisoners.

Please check out the video for Don’t Give Me Up below, which features contributions from many of the band’s fans

To tell you more about Don’t Give Me Up, we hand over to the band:

“Don’t Give Me Up is an epic rocker of a song with a strong message – an anthem for the dispossessed, the outcasts, the misunderstood and the discriminated against. The song speaks of the struggles of not fitting in, the bullying of those who may look different, dress different or think different. Society is not a kind place for anyone who does not conform to a certain image or lifestyle – kids are under constant pressure of their peers through the advent of social media – adults don’t have it too much better either.

In the modern media age everyone is quick to judge and criticize, without considering the hurt caused by their comments and actions. We’re here to say that it’s OK to be different – to dress however you want, to look the way that makes YOU happy, to live your life on your own terms, not other peoples. This song champions the resilience of all the ‘freaks’ and ‘weirdos’ and celebrates them as they rise above the challenge of modern day – and to those struggling and suffering, hang in there – you are not alone.”
