Bleach Lab – have released their new single ‘Close To The Flame’.

Shoegaze and indie-rock provocateurs Bleach Lab release their new single, ‘Close To The Flame’. It is the third single release taken from their new upcoming EP, also titled Close To The Flame, which is set for release on Friday 18th July and will be available on 10” vinyl.

On the new single ‘Close To The Flame’, Bleach Lab purvey shoegaze indie-rock excellence. Throughout the track, the band cascade through enveloping, luxurious aesthetics, with frontwoman’s Jenna Kyle’s sumptuous vocals coming to the foreground alongside the exquisite band production. It is a sign of what is to come for one of the most exciting bands in the UK.

Speaking about the new single, frontwoman Jenna said:

“I was heavily inspired by bands like slowdive and my bloody valentine when writing the lyrics and melody for ‘Close To The Flame’. I wanted it to feel like the end scene of a coming of age romance film, when they’re leaving everything they know in the middle of the night. It’s about an all consuming relationship, where you’re so obsessed with someone you almost want to merge into one and become them”

In November 2025, Bleach Lab will embark on a UK tour. The band will be playing seven dates in total, including a headline show at Bush HallLondon. Full tour dates can be found below and tickets can be purchased HERE.

On Friday 18th July, Bleach Lab will release their new EP, Close To The Flame, their first body of work since their critically and commercially acclaimed debut album Lost In A Rush Of Emptiness which DIY called “A debut of dreamy loveliness” and also received 5* and 4* reviews across the board. Close To The Flame is Bleach Lab’s first self-produced project, and the EP is also the first project to feature new guitarist, Louis Takooree.
