BIMM Dublin alum Elina Filice – is on a mission to empower the independent music community

Singer-songwriter, digital marketer, and creative coach, Elina Filice has spent the last several years working with independent artists and labels around the world on music marketing, project management, and release strategies.

Nomadic by nature, Elina was born to Canadian parents, spent her formative years in Singapore, University years in Canada and further study years in Dublin at BIMM, where she founded Red Vine Records – since earning critical press acclaim and Spotify editorial support, achieving over 1 million streams for her single, “Thinking of You”.

Elina encourages that there has never been a better time to release music independently than right now. However, for independent artists, this means shouldering an overwhelming amount of responsibility. From content to distribution to PR and everything in between, there’s endless moving parts and priorities to manage during a release.

Enter Drop Rocket, an innovative new tool for independent artists founded by the BIMM Dublin alum. Resonating with the struggles of being an independent artist, Filice is on a mission to empower fellow creatives through tools and strategies to help them release music effectively and grow their artist businesses sustainably.

“Releasing music is a complex project that needs simple solutions. There’s never been a better time to release music independently than right now, but artists need the right tools to do it right. Drop Rocket is dedicated to empowering independent artists through powerful project management and dedicated music tech.”
