Benjamin Francis Leftwich / Talia Rae – The Workmans Club, Dublin 13.04.2023

Eyes closed and hearts wide open. A very emotionally beautiful night in The Workman’s Club on Saturday 13th in Dublin with Benjamin Francis Leftwich.

With the stage set up to look just like his official music video for  “A love like that”,  he brought us inside his living room, inside his world and kept us there for the entire set, until unplugging from his amp and coming down off stage to play an intimate rendition of “Atlas Hands”, and the crowd singing every word.

His tender voice, along with his lyrics that everyone can relate to, Benjamin softly spoke about how he always tries to write a song to use as a “letter” to his father in heaven, to stop by and catch up and let him know how life is going. “Spokane, Washington” was a beautiful insight to a quick story of his life.

A nervous Benjamin let the crowd know that he normally suffers with “pre-gig” anxiety but this did not get in the way of an incredible night with the Yorkshire born legend.

With support from Talia Rae and her hauntingly beautiful voice, this night will stick in the hearts of Dublin fans for a long time.
