Alternative prog outfit HOLOSOIL have unveiled a new single. After signing to InsideOutMusic in 2023, the Berlin/Helsinki outfit is releasing “Cracks” their second single since their final formation. The track comes alongside a stunning music video, capturing the band within a dark, yet colorful aesthetic, which is clearly becoming an element of uniqueness for the band.
Atmospheric, bold and without hesitation – HOLOSOIL prove once more that they are a new band worth being watched. The single follows the band’s debut track “Look Up”, which was released back in October.
The band shares about the track:
“Reaching for the unknown through the cracks in the wall. HOLOSOIL 2nd single is a contemporary exhibit of rock music, a trip-hop and heavy metal medley that widens the musical range of the band.
The lyrics are about a longing to merge with nature and feel alive. To get out of the mind-matrix of separation and individualism. A melancholic dream of living in harmony. “
HOLOSOIL is a band founded in 2024 by Victor Nissim (bass), Jan Kurfürst (guitar), Altaïr Chagué (drums) and Emelie Sederholm (vocals) . Although most of the band members are based in Berlin, Germany, Emelie lives in Helsinki, Finland while Victor and Altaïr are both French. The result is a gathering of eclectic musicians, manufacturers of a freaky, explosive and sophisticated sound.
Signed to InsideOutMusic in 2023, the formation previously known as R3VO featured in Metal Hammer magazine, performed at Euroblast Festival 2023 and was notably approached by Trinity Music to open for Scottish band “Vukovi“.
The release of 3 additional singles will lead up to HOLOSOIL´s debut EP, out in 2026.
