Ahead of the release of his new album ‘24’ out October 2026, renowned classical-soul musician Alexis Ffrench has just announced a headline show at 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin for Thursday 20^th April 2027.

Alexis Ffrench is an artist with a special ability to create music for the soul. A pioneering superstar of Classical Soul, Alexis’s sound refuses to be penned in by genre, time period, or expectations of the kind of musician he should be.

Rather than leaning into the narrow, traditional understanding of ‘classical’, Alexis instead leans outward, expansive in his perspective, drawing on a multifarious mosaic of influences that takes the listener by the hand and leads them on a journey through a world of possibility. With well over 1 billion streams across his catalogue worldwide, multiple No.1 albums and Gold-selling status in the USA for his single ‘Bluebird’, Ffrench is redefining the boundaries of classical music and its role in contemporary culture.

His latest project 24, set for release in October 2026, finds Alexis reflecting what his music means to those who find solace in it — and embracing the ordinary moments it has served to soundtrack. Intended as a companion to the clockwork regularity of everyday life, each of the record’s 24 pieces guide listeners from dawn to dusk and unfurl as an intimate and immersive snapshot of a singular day.

“I want this album to reflect the everyday miracles in people’s lives,” says Alexis. Throughout his career, he’s asked one question above all others: “what do my listeners need from me?”  With 24, the answer is both simple and profound: music to live by.

This year, Alexis also celebrates the 20th anniversary of his seminal debut album Piano Diaries. With each piece evoking the pull of a series of intimate and reflective moment, the record fused cinematic simplicity with an emotionally direct and highly accessible composition.

A passionate advocate for music education, Alexis is the first-ever Artistic Director of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) in its 133-year history. He is also Trustee and Governing Body Member and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music, London, and Honorary Fellow of Homerton College, Cambridge. His unique approach to music — and love of how classical sounds can serve to soundtrack everyday life — is showcased on his newly-launched Classic FM series ‘Music To Live By’. Delving into the ways  music can lift mood, help us unwind and bring moments of calm when they’re needed the most, the show also investigates how classical music has inspired a broad range of genres close to Alexis’ heart: from pop ballads, to rock’n’roll, West Coast hip-hop and beyond.

Continuing to bring classical music to new audiences worldwide in 2026,  recent renowned performances including King Charles III’s Coronation Concert and a solo televised performance at Westminster Abbey (in tribute to Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II). Alexis also continues to tour across the globe: selling out venues worldwide, performing at major festivals, hosting masterclasses with schools and charities, and putting his own spin on contemporary hits for his enthusiastic social media audience.
