Alabama 3 / Frank Harvey – Exile On Coldharbour Lane + La Peste celebration tour live gallery & review from The Academy Dublin 08.03.2025

Alabama 3 on Irish shore for three dates and Dublin being in the middle, it was always going to be a party as all Alabama 3 live shows are.
Back in 1997 the band released Exile On Coldharbour Lane and the party hasn’t stopped since.
The band were touring this album well the world came to a standstill due to the plague so a stop was put to the tour. Now with Devlin back they have started back up that tour and added in La Peste for good measure.

So the lights went down and Devlin arrives on stage in her gold spandex with other band members picks up her guitar and opens up with the Eagles cover ‘Hotel California’ with just her under a spot light, its a while into the song before Larry takes the stage and then it all kicks off after this as the band out ‘Cocaine (Killed My Community)’ and ‘Mansion on the Hill’.

Its hard not to move when these guys play, its like the body just has a mind of its own and cant resist moving or is it the hypo of love in effect.
But man the venue was alive and electric and every body on the floor and the balcony moving.
Again i have to thank you guys for another fantastic night and I woke up this morning not with a gun, but with a smile.

Opening act for the night came from Frank Harvey playing his blend of rock & roll which went down very well with all in the room, well really who doesnt like good old fashion R&R.
