Afterdrive – drop electrifying new single ‘Neon View’

Following the breakout success of their alt-pop anthem Fashion, rising pop-rock heavyweights AFTERDRIVE have unleashed their brand-new single, Neon View, alongside news of a massive, celebratory hometown headline show at Baths in Ipswich on September 19th, 2026 (tickets can be purchased here). The band have also teased some very special news relating to their debut EP and a UK tour, more of which to be announced very soon.

Neon View represents the next bold step in the band’s rapidly evolving sonic universe. Expanding on the late-night textures of their previous work, the track blends shimmering contemporary synths and driving basslines, all anchored by frontman Ben Watts’ unmistakably cool, emotive vocal delivery. Produced and mixed by Thomas Mitchener, it’s an anthemic, high-energy cut tailored for massive festival fields and packed rooms alike.

The arrival of Neon View kicks off a monumental summer for the Suffolk outfit. Tomorrow, AFTERDRIVE will make a triumphant live appearance at Ipswich’s brand-new Halo Festival on Saturday, July 4th at Trinity Park, where they have been tapped to headline the Suffolk Stage. Sharing a festival bill with indie giants like Two Door Cinema Club and The Vaccines, the headline slot cements AFTERDRIVE’s status as the region’s most exciting musical export.

It has been a whirlwind year for the band. After kicking off 2026 with a sold-out headline show at The Waterfront Studio, they hit the road supporting The Entitled Sons, followed by a massive UK and European tour supporting US pop-rock superstar Maggie Lindemann. These international stages have only sharpened the band’s explosive live performance, making their newly announced September 19th return to Ipswich their most anticipated hometown event to date.

AFTERDRIVE’s meteoric rise follows a landmark moment where they were personally selected to support global icon Ed Sheeran at his huge Portman Road stadium show. The band has since become a fixture on the airwaves, earning massive championing from BBC Radio 1.
