Adore are a 3-piece garage punk band hailing from Galway, Donegal and Dublin. Their music combines themes from surf, disco and pop which blends with their punk sensibilities, firmly grounded by crunchy guitar and a powerful drum and bass combo.
Their latest single, “Supermum!”, has garnered significant attention, including a feature in DIY Magazine’s Neu Bulletin and Neu Playlist, marking a brilliant start for the band. DIY Magazine described the track as “a slice of infectious, riotous garage-punk from newcomers Adore… using irresistible music and clever lyricism to convey a stark message in a way that means you just can’t help but listen.”
The track has also been named one of the Tracks of the Week by God Is In The TV, who praised it as “a scuzzy, grungy, ramshackled bundle of raucous energy.”
Adore‘s momentum continues to build, as they were named Artist Of The Week by Mystic Sons and featured in the Genuine Irish Spotify playlist. They have also received international support from Ones To Watch (US), Niche Music (Japan), and prominent platforms like Post Brexit Pop, Wax Music, and Rough Trade’s Counter Culture playlist.
