Acclaimed Irish trio Chasing Abbey – to release debut album ‘Cyber Celt’ on Fri 18th Sept with thought provoking focus single ‘Colonised Minds’

Acclaimed Irish trio Chasing Abbey have spent over a decade building a strong presence both in Ireland and internationally, earning them awards, multiple platinum records, sold-out world tours and almost 1 million followers online.

On 18th Sept they release debut album ‘CYBER CELT’ with focus single ‘Colonised Minds’ as extensive world tour kicks off.

Reflecting their ground breaking fusion of electronic production and Celtic influences, in particular Irish traditional music, this release positions the band at the forefront of the Irish cultural revival amongst peers such as Kneecap, Lankum and Madra Salach, and sees them using this beautiful ancient language to deliver their lyrics with maximum weight. Working entirely in-house, they write, record, produce, and mix their own music, as well as create the visuals that accompany each release.

Their live show is just as much a spiritual awakening as it is a concert performance – soaring energy mixed with a message of unity and social justice drives home the feeling that this is not just a show, this is a movement which Chasing Abbey are leading internationally.

CYBER CELT is available on limited edition coloured vinyl, black vinyl and on CD from – https://www.chasingabbey.ie
